Can Kratom Be Combined With Other Drugs?

Kratom should not be used in conjunction with cocaine, amphetamine, MDMA, methamphetamine, yohimbine, large doses of caffeine or other stimulants. This is due to the risk of increased blood pressure and possibility of over-stimulation.

Alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines and other depressant drugs should also be avoided whilst taken kratom. The mixing of depressants could cause very serious problems including respiratory depression.

You should not use kratom if you are taking any MAO inhibitor drugs.

Generally, mixing drugs should be avoided. Some users report smoking cannabis or tobacco whilst using kratom to be pleasant. Others enjoy mixing a small amount of alcohol. Drinking regular tea or coffee should be fine, as long as you don't have a large amount.
